Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all subcontract process such as Machining and Winding carried out within the organisation and external places.
• Based on production plan, Category wise (Machining/winding) subcontract plan to be arrived in suitable formats.
• Release the schedules to all vendor based on monthly production requirements. If any changes in schedule update and communicate to relevant vendors case to case.
• Coordinate with store and purchase and provide the materials to vendor's timely with applicable document /ERP entries.
• Make close follow-ups with vendors to bring the material on timely manner.
• Verify the subcontract GRN process, Vendor Bills (Qty, Price),with respect to contract orders.
• If there is any Quality issues with received product coordinate with respective vendors and clear the rework within 3 days maximum. If rework not feasible arrive the rejection cost and raise debit note to vendors. And rejected items to be handover to stores with applicable document.
• If any shortage qty /price variation w.r. to Order /Price master discuss with vendor and for solution.
• Vendor performance to be analysed w.r.to Quality, Delivery, Cost and performance on monthly basis and applicable report to be submitted to management.
• Plan and execute the periodical vendor assessment in coordination with QA Team. Obtain corrective action from vendor and submit QA for approvals.
• Conduct surprise stock audit at vendor places and submit the report to stores and management.
• Conduct vendor capacity and develop suitable vendors for additional /replacement of existing inconsideration with QCD.
• Extending supports for machining and winding for development projects /source identification.
